Whether you are buying your first home or a veteran home buyer, a credited real estate consultant can make all the difference in the world with your home purchase.

The biggest mistake I notice some home buyers make is the casual approach in hiring their agent.  A lot of people chose their agent without asking ANY questions about their experience and qualifications to represent them.  Most likely the agent is a very kind and intelligent person; however they may not be the best real estate representative for you.

The public believes all agents are basically a-like. Nothing is further from the truth.  Remember, anyone can point out an address or walk a buyer through a home, but only well trained and experienced agents can negotiate the best deal for you and contractually protect you through the escrow process.  Your agent, among a number of things, must be able to confidently present to you the “fair market value” for a home, so you do not “over pay.”  Additionally, an agent with experience can guide you through the offer and presentation process in order to get your offer accepted, especially in a competitive scenario.

Analogy:  You are going to hire a Captain to take you and your family on a boat outing.  You meet a Captain that is incredibly friendly, so without any questions you hire them.  Unfortunately while boating you encounter rough seas, only then to find out this Captains inexperience.  Even worse, it is too late to get a new Captain.

With one of your largest financial investments, you need to make sure to
have an accredited real estate consultant working for you. Anything less could cost you thousands of dollars and irreplaceable amounts of time and energy.

“Choose your real estate consultant based on experience, proven results, market knowledge, effective communication skills and the willingness to tell you exactly what is needed to get the results you are looking for.”
